A large-format, professionally framed display featuring two printed items related to the Disney film franchise Pirates of the Caribbean. The left side of the display contains a graphic reproduction of a “Wanted” poster for the character Captain Jack Sparrow. The print is designed with a faux-aged aesthetic including simulated staining, creasing, and rusted edges. It features a portrait of Johnny Depp and text reading: “WANTED ALIVE OR DEAD”, “Nickname Jack ‘Sparrow’, captain of the ‘Black Pearl’. Bank robbery. Robbery and assault on His Majesty’s ships. REWARD FOR THE HEAD $ 200000.” The right side contains a promotional poster for the 2007 film Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. The poster depicts Jack Sparrow in a mist-filled environment holding a cutlass. Printed across the top are the cast names: “JOHNNY DEPP ORLANDO BLOOM KEIRA KNIGHTLEY CHOW YUN-FAT AND GEOFFREY RUSH”. The bottom of the print includes the film title logo and a credit line reading: “WALT DISNEY PICTURES PRESENTS PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN AT WORLD’S END”. The items are mounted within a double-aperture, cream-coloured mat and protected behind glass. The assembly is housed in a large wooden frame with a metallic gold-toned finish.
