A set of four oak side chairs in the Jacobean Revival style, featuring dark stained frames. The chairs are constructed with barley-twist (torsal) front legs and back uprights, joined by a matching H-stretcher arrangement with barley-twist side and central rails. The top rails and oval back panel surrounds are decorated with carved scrollwork. Each chair is fitted with a fixed upholstered seat and an oval upholstered back panel, covered in a contemporary reddish-pink textile with a small-scale geometric diamond and cross pattern. The construction utilizes mortise and tenon joinery throughout the oak frames.
