A vintage steamer trunk of rectangular form, featuring a black textured exterior constructed from vulcanised fibre or treated canvas. The trunk is reinforced with brass-toned metal hardware, including protective corner guards and edge banding. It is fitted with two draw-bolt latches and a central lever lock mechanism. A single black leather carry handle is mounted to the front centre between two decorative brass-toned plates. The construction utilises metal rivets throughout the banding and corner reinforcements.
