4 of early 20th-century oak side chairs in the Arts and Crafts style. The chairs feature shaped top rails with a central trefoil-style cutout, positioned above a rectangular upholstered panel and three wavy vertical splats. The padded seats and back panels are upholstered in a polychrome woven tapestry-style fabric featuring geometric and stylized motifs in shades of terracotta, ochre, and purple. The back panels are finished with a matching decorative braided gimp trim. The frames are constructed from oak with square-section front legs and slightly splayed rear legs. Each chair has a small blue adhesive label on the top rail with the price £25.00 written in ink. No maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible.
