This is a mid-1970s electro-mechanical pinball machine manufactured by Bally Manufacturing Corp, model Hi-Deal. The machine features a combined aviation and card-playing theme. The cabinet and backbox are constructed from painted wood, with the exterior panels decorated with large red and black playing card suit symbols against a white ground. The backglass features the title HI-DEAL in stylized blue and red lettering, along with the Bally manufacturer logo and the text 1 TO 4 CAN PLAY. The internal playfield is visible under a glass cover and includes standard components such as flippers, bumpers, and scoring lanes. The unit is supported by four metal legs and retains its original metal coin door assembly and lockdown bar. A handwritten sticker with the characters E-15 00 is adhered to the lower cabinet.
Condition report:
The wooden cabinet shows significant signs of age and use, with heavy surface wear, scuffing, and paint loss. The metal coin door is misaligned and currently appears to be unsecured. While the backglass graphics remain largely intact, typical minor crazing or lifting of the screen-printed ink may be present. The playfield components appear physically complete, but the condition of internal relays, solenoids, and rubber rings has not been verified. The machine is not powered and is sold as a vintage collectible in as-is condition for restoration or parts.
