An occasional two-tier side table influenced by French Provincial or Rococo Revival design. The table features a scalloped, irregularly shaped main top and a smaller matching lower shelf. It is supported by four slender, out-curved cabriole legs. The wooden frame is finished in a cream-coloured paint that has been intentionally distressed to achieve a shabby chic aesthetic. Both the upper and lower tiers are decorated with a floral decoupage or transfer print, depicting a collage of roses, sunflowers, and a butterfly, interspersed with calligraphic script elements against a dark ground.
