A framed commemorative collage celebrating the centenary of Leeds United AFC. The display is composed of two distinct paper sections. The upper section features a blue background with a composite of historical club crests, including the 1970s ‘smiling Christ’ or ‘script’ logo, various ‘LUFC’ vertical script crests, and the ‘owl’ crest. Central to this section is a crest inscribed 1919 LEEDS UNITED 100 YEARS. The lower part of this section includes a 1980s-90s style ‘soccer ball’ crest inscribed LEEDS UNITED AFC. Two white circular fields are present; the left contains a handwritten signature in black ink reading Billy, and the right contains an illegible handwritten signature in black ink. The lower section of the collage consists of a fantasy-style art print depicting a peacock, the club’s mascot, with its tail feathers forming a halo against a cloudy sky, positioned above a flooded-light Elland Road stadium filled with supporters. The prints are housed in a dark wood-effect frame behind glass with a gold-toned inner border.
