A two seater settee in the Victorian revival style. The piece features a carved wooden frame, possibly mahogany or stained beech, with a shaped cresting rail and scrolled armrests. The upholstery is finished in a dusty rose velvet or velour, featuring deep-buttoning to the backrest. The seat is fixed and padded, and the edges of the upholstery are decorated with a continuous line of brass-coloured upholstery studs. The frame is supported on shaped legs. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the exterior of the piece. An electrical cable and vacuum cleaner component are visible on the floor beneath the item but are not part of the lot.
