A vintage garden bench constructed with a frame of wrought iron straps and a seat and backrest of narrow wooden slats. The dark-painted metal frame features curved armrests with simple scrolled terminals. The seat and back are formed from multiple thin, rectangular-section wooden slats that follow the ergonomic curve of the iron supports. The slats are fixed to the frame with metal rivets. A small circular metal support element is positioned between the backrest and the seat rail. There is a small white circular adhesive label on the lower front metal rail, however, the text on this label is not legible. No maker’s names, stamps, or signatures are visible on the metalwork or wooden components.
