A decorative ceramic basket featuring an open-work lattice weave design. The circular bowl has a fixed central handle and is filled with an assortment of moulded ceramic fruits. The arrangement includes a large red apple, a dark purple plum, a green apple, a yellow banana, and several small red berries, all set amongst green leaves. Each component is finished in a bright, high-gloss polychrome glaze. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible in the photograph.
