A decorative statue of a seated Buddha, crafted from a cast composite material with a dual-tone finish. The figure is depicted in the lotus position (padmasana) with hands resting in the meditation gesture (dhyana mudra). The body is finished with a dark bronze-toned patina, while the hair and ornate robe (uttarasanga) are finished in a gold-coloured gilding. The robe is embellished with relief scrollwork and set with several small red cabochon-style accents. The head features traditional snail-shell curls, elongated earlobes, and a flame-like finial (sirispata) atop the ushnisha. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or labels visible in the image.
