A trio of graduated tapered cylindrical garden vessels. Constructed from a heavy, coarse-grained stoneware with a textured, matte-finished oatmeal-coloured slip with a lava-like appearance. Each vessel features a sgraffito and slip-trailed decorative scheme comprising bold, dark brown linear and abstract motifs of pseudo-zoomorphic form. The designs are consistent across the set, featuring stylised figures and primitive mark-making. The vessels are resting on a cardboard base bearing a handwritten annotation in black marker reading RRP £140 B+Q. No manufacturer’s marks or stamps are visible on the exterior of the pieces.
