A single curved loop handle is attached to the shoulder with riveted plates. The churn is accompanied by a matching domed metal lid. The base is reinforced with a thick, rolled flanged rim that includes small, circular ventilation holes spaced around its circumference. The metal has an aged, weathered patina throughout. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the exterior of the item.
