A vintage paraffin fuel container manufactured by the Valor Company Ltd. The rectangular tinplate body features the brand name VALOR embossed vertically on the front face. The exterior retains remnants of a light blue painted finish, characteristic of containers produced for the Esso Blue paraffin range. The design incorporates a flat metal strap handle across the top and a secondary D-shaped handle at the rear for pouring assistance. The top of the can is fitted with a central threaded screw-cap for filling and a curved metal spout for pouring, which retains its original friction-fit cap.
