This lot comprises a substantial collection of vintage folded paper maps published by the Ordnance Survey, covering a broad geographical range of Great Britain. The collection represents various series and scales primarily from the 20th century. Included are numerous examples from the Landranger Series at a 1:50,000 scale, identifiable by their magenta covers, with titles such as Dorking, Reigate & Crawley, North West Norfolk, Leeds & Bradford, Wensleydale & Wharfedale, and Abergavenny and the Black Mountains. The assortment also contains earlier 1-inch to 1-mile maps with white, orange, and yellow covers, including titles such as The Lizard, Lower Tamar Valley, and Isle of Wight.
