An early 20th-century oak gramophone cabinet constructed in the Jacobean Revival style. The piece features a split-hinged top designed to open and reveal an internal compartment for a turntable. The front is fitted with two cupboard doors, each decorated with a central carved octagonal panel depicting stylised floral motifs including thistles and roses, flanked by small heraldic shields. The doors are mounted on external iron-style butterfly hinges. The cabinet is supported by four square-section legs that transition into turned lower sections. The interior layout is currently not visible. A white rectangular paper label marked 566 is affixed to the top surface. No maker’s marks are visible.
