A trio of graduated ceramic planters fashioned in the form of swans. Each piece is modelled in a swimming posture with a curved neck and an open, hollowed back designed for use as a container or decorative vase. The exterior surfaces feature relief-moulded feather detailing finished in a high-gloss creamy white glaze. The heads are detailed with hand-painted orange beaks and black accents around the eyes and beak tips. The interiors are glazed in a matching white finish. This set resembles mid-century ceramic designs frequently produced in Japan or by British firms such as Dartmouth Pottery. No maker marks or backstamps are visible on the bases.
