The frame is constructed from a hardwood, likely teak or iroko, and features a horizontal three-rail backrest above a seven-rail slatted seat. The chair is designed with straight, flat-topped armrests and square-section legs, held together with exposed screw fixings. Small butterfly-style wooden patches are visible on the upper surface of both armrests, used for structural stabilisation.
