This collection consists of an assortment of mineralogical and geological specimens in their raw, natural state. The lot features multiple desert rose formations, characterised by rosette-like crystal clusters of gypsum or baryte with embedded sand grains. Also included are several large, coarse-grained igneous rock specimens, likely granitic or dioritic, showing distinct light-coloured feldspar or quartz alongside dark ferromagnesian mineral inclusions. One tabular rock fragment displays prominent reddish-brown and ochre-yellow surface staining consistent with iron oxides such as hematite or goethite. Further specimens include clusters of bladed pinkish-orange crystals, possibly celestine, and various smaller white granular and dark fine-grained matrix fragments. The items are presented loose, with some contained in white card specimen boxes and others resting on protective plastic liners.
