An early 20th-century sideboard, dating circa 1920s-1930s, featuring highly figured book-matched burr walnut veneers. The piece is designed with a shaped front edge and includes a custom-fitted protective glass top. The storage configuration comprises five drawers of varying sizes: four arranged across the top tier (one small drawer to the far left, two medium drawers, and one wide drawer with two handles to the far right) and a single centrally positioned drawer in the second tier. The lower section contains three cupboard doors, each with a central keyhole, where the rightmost cupboard is of a wider dimension than the others. The piece is furnished with ornate brass batwing style backplates and drop handles. It stands on a solid plinth base. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible.
