A pair of standard NATO-pattern 20-litre steel fuel containers, commonly known as jerry cans. These examples feature the traditional three-handle configuration designed for versatile carrying by one or two persons. The side panels are embossed with standard rectangular and X-pattern reinforcement ribs to facilitate expansion and contraction of the contents. One container is clearly embossed on the top shoulder with 20L followed by the maker mark BAMSA LTD, identifying it as a product of Bamsa Limited, a known supplier to the British Ministry of Defence during the late 20th century. Both cans are finished in olive drab paint and retain their cam-locking closure mechanisms. The right-hand can retains a metal safety pin and ring attached to the cap.
