A mid-20th-century portable automatic record changer housed in a rectangular wooden cabinet. The unit is equipped with a BSR Monarch four-speed turntable mechanism, providing speeds of 16, 33, 45, and 78 RPM. The wooden case is finished with a reddish-brown stain and features a pink textured fabric lining to the interior of the lid. The right-hand side of the cabinet contains an integrated speaker behind a gold-tone metallic mesh grille, alongside two black plastic control knobs for volume and tone. The turntable assembly includes a white plastic tonearm and a central overarm for stacking multiple records. A yellow paper instruction disc on the platter is printed with the text Better Sound Reproduction with your BSR AUTO RECORD CHANGER and includes numbered operating instructions. A small label near the tonearm reads FITTED WITH GENUINE DIAMOND STYLUS. The player is fitted with a grey power cable and a modern UK three-pin plug.
