This mid-20th-century campaign-style flip-top server is attributed to the Accolade collection by Drexel Heritage. Constructed with mahogany veneers, the cabinet reflects traditional military campaign aesthetics through its use of flush-mounted brass corner bindings and recessed hardware. The primary feature is a three-part top; the two outer leaves are hinged to open outwards, creating an extended serving surface. The interior of these leaves and the central fixed section are inset with a dark grey leather-effect skiver.
The front configuration consists of a row of three frieze drawers, the central one featuring a keyhole, all fitted with rectangular recessed brass handles. Below the drawers is a double-door cupboard section, with the doors featuring circular recessed brass finger pulls. The entire unit sits upon a continuous plinth base. While the design is highly characteristic of the Drexel Accolade series, no maker’s marks or labels were observed during inspection.
