This contemporary nautical-themed wall mirror features a wide rectangular wooden frame with a heavily textured, stippled mid-blue paint finish. The frame is decorated with twelve applied, hand-painted wooden figures, including eleven tropical fish in various shapes and colours, and a single starfish positioned at the base. The figures are whimsical in style and individually carved. The rectangular mirror plate is recessed within the frame. While no maker’s mark is visible, the construction and style are characteristic of decorative giftware from the late 20th or early 21st century. A white adhesive inventory label from Carn Brea Auction Rooms is attached to the bottom right corner of the frame.
