This static display model represents the LNER Class V2 2-6-2 steam locomotive, named Green Arrow. Attributed to Atlas Editions as part of the Great British Locomotives collection, the model is constructed from die-cast metal and plastic components. It is finished in LNER apple green livery with white lining and features the running number 4771 on the cab sides. The tender is marked with L N E R lettering and the locomotive carries a small Green Arrow nameplate above the driving wheels. The model is mounted upon a dark wood-effect plastic display plinth which carries a gold-tone identification plate inscribed LNER V2 GREEN ARROW. It is housed in its original custom-moulded polystyrene packaging tray.
