A large glazed stoneware garden planter of tapered circular form with a thickened, rounded rim, in the style of garden pots distributed by The Pottery Patch. The exterior features a mottled reddish-brown and cream/grey run glaze. One side is decorated with an incised sgraffito-style design depicting a stylised flower head with accompanying stems and lancet-shaped leaves, cut through the glaze to reveal the lighter clay body beneath. The form and decoration are consistent with commercial pottery produced in Southeast Asia. No maker’s marks or factory stamps are visible.
