A contemporary stoneware ceramic planter of square tapering form. The vessel features a broad, flat rim above four tapering sides. The interior is marked by a series of small, evenly spaced perforations positioned just below the upper edge. The exterior decoration comprises a band of horizontal raised ridges around the centre. The glaze application is two-tone, consisting of a matte chocolate-brown finish to the rim and base, with the central ribbed portion decorated in a variegated cobalt blue reactive glaze. No maker’s marks or backstamps are visible.
