Condition report:
The jug has a significant vertical crack extending from the rim down through one of the cream-coloured panels. This damage has been stabilised with a historic stapled repair, with a metal rivet visible at the top rim. The exterior cream glaze exhibits extensive fine crazing throughout. There is considerable wear to the gilt decoration, particularly noticeable on the cobalt blue handle and around the rim.
