The chairs are in used condition and show signs of age and wear. The upholstery on both chairs exhibits general surface soiling, with a distinct dark stain visible on the seat of the left chair. The timber frames show minor scuffs, scratches, and age-related wear to the finish, particularly along the edges and on the legs. One chair appears to have a small portion of the carved detail missing from the left side of the top rail.
