Condition report:
The scales are in an as-found condition with significant signs of age and use. There is heavy chipping, staining, and loss to the white enamel finish on the base. The black-painted metal components and the cast iron weights exhibit extensive surface oxidation and rust. Both metal pans show tarnishing, surface scratches, and areas of localised corrosion. The mechanical integrity and weighing accuracy have not been tested.
