This vintage wooden model pond yacht is attributed to Star Yachts of Birkenhead, England, based on its characteristic design and construction. The model features a carved wooden hull with a dark mahogany-toned stained finish below the waterline and a natural-finish wood deck. It is rigged in a Bermudan style with a single wooden mast and boom supporting a large, single triangular blue fabric sail. The rigging is constructed from cord and metal screw eyes. The yacht is mounted on a basic wooden X-frame display stand. A small white rectangular paper label is affixed to the port side of the hull, which appears to be a modern price or inventory tag. No original manufacturer’s decals or transfers are visible.
