A mahogany sewing or work table, featuring a rectangular case with a hinged top. The interior is lined with pink pleated and diamond-tufted fabric, including a matching pincushion to the underside of the lid and a pleated side pocket. The lid is held open by a metal stay. The case is supported by four square-section tapered legs. A single drawer is positioned beneath the top compartment, fitted with a decorative metal pull handle. The primary timber is mahogany. No manufacturer labels or marks are visible.
