A large porcelain vase of tall baluster form, featuring a wide, flared trumpet-shaped neck and a circular spreading foot. The piece is decorated throughout in underglaze blue with a continuous wraparound landscape scene in the Chinese export style. The composition depicts multi-storey pagodas and pavilions situated on rocky islands amongst stylised trees and water. The neck is ornamented with a band of upright, pointed leaf or lappet motifs. The shoulder features a decorative border of floral scrolls, and a repeating geometric key-fret pattern encircles the foot. The style is characteristic of 19th-century Chinoiserie wares or Chinese export porcelain. No maker marks, backstamps, or inscriptions are visible on the exterior surface.
