A dressing chest in the late Victorian or Edwardian style, likely constructed from pine. The carcass features a base with a two-over-two drawer configuration. The superstructure consists of two small raised jewellery drawers flanking an arched centre, supporting a rectangular mirror frame held by turned side supports with decorative finials. The entire piece is finished in a heavily distressed white or light grey paint wash. The drawers are fitted with decorative brass-toned swing handles on ornate backplates. No maker’s marks or retailer labels are visible.
