A collection of British first day covers featuring high-value Machin definitive stamps. The collection includes two covers postmarked 5 March 1969 at Windsor, Berkshire, featuring official GPO High Value Stamps cachets in gold and black. These 1969 covers are addressed to Mr G. E. Terry and each bears a £1 denomination stamp, presented in distinct shades of bluish-black and blue. Also included are two covers postmarked 2 February 1977 at Ashford, Kent, addressed to Mr H.E.W. Cook. One 1977 cover features a single 50p gold-brown stamp, while the second cover displays a multiple comprising £1 green, £2 maroon, and £5 blue denominations. All stamps are from the definitive series featuring the profile of Queen Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin. The items are presented in clear protective plastic binder sleeves.
