Condition report:
Both items show signs of age and field use consistent with military service. The pith helmet exhibits overall staining to the cloth, some fraying to the edges, and minor deformation to the crown shape. The steel helmet shell shows surface wear, pitting, and areas of oxidation. The textured finish is worn in several places. The interior liner and chin strap for the steel helmet are not visible and cannot be assessed. Both pieces are offered in an honest, as-found condition with a natural patina.
