Condition report:
The item is in a salvaged state and exhibits significant wear. The later white paint finish is heavily distressed with widespread chipping, flaking, and loss throughout, revealing underlying finish layers and the wood substrate. There are visible structural separations at the joints and several cracks to the panels consistent with age and storage. Minor losses and abrasions to the high-relief carving are present. The piece retains a weathered, \"shabby chic\" appearance.
